The AWAY (Always Welcome At YMCAs) sticker on the front of your membership card means you may use your YMCA membership at more than 2,400 participating YMCA's across the country. Because each YMCA is a separate non-profit organization, policies vary on the use of facilities, equipment, services, and programs by out-of-town YMCA members. Depending on the participating Y's AWAY policy, you may use the facility either for free or for a small charge.
Effective March 1, 2007, members of other YMCA's who visit the J. Smith Young YMCA will be charged $5.00 per visit. Visiting members are required to bring their YMCA membership card with them at each visit and may not bring guests.
