Youth and Family Fitness Center
The Y has moved the Magnum weight equipment to an alternate room to make a wonderful area for families and youth to workout together. Children ages 12 & 13 are allowed to workout in the room only when accompanied by a parent or guardian.Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in this area. Children ages 14 & over are permitted in this room without a parent or guardian after the completion of instructional training by a fitness staff member. Absolutely no food or drinks are allowed in this area.

Basic Body Fat Analysis A hand held body fat analyzer is used to calculate your percentage of body fat and BMI. We also offer a body fat percentage test using skin fold callipers. Contact the Fitness Director for an appointment. Free for members.
Extensive Body Analysis Increase awareness of your health through this extensive analysis of the percentage of body fat and lean mass that you have. From this information your suggested target weight will be given. Resting metabolic rate, caloric consumption for weight-loss and protein consumption to maintain lean body mass will also be determined. Recommendations for exercise and healthy habits will be given to help you reach your goal. The cost is only $10.00 and appointments can be made by contacting Emily at 249-2177, extension 219.
