This course gives tweens and teens everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) Child and Babysitting Safety curriculum will be taught. Students will receive information and learn skills necessary to provide responsible care for children in the absence of their parents or guardians. This training will help participants learn skills for providing basic care, safe play, and first aid while developing leadership and professionalism. All materials needed for the course will be provided. *Feel free to pack a snack and a water bottle if you would like. - To achieve certification, participants must pass evaluation and preform required skills competently without assistance - After completion, participants will receive 2 year certification card and a babysitting ready pack bag
Dates: Saturday, October 9th
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. A pizza lunch will be provided
