Just as important, they learn firsthand the benefits of being healthy & active and that virtual games just can't compare to the real thing. Youth Sports are offered year-round and always need great coaches. Use your talents to encourage, guide and train young athletes at the Y!

This high intensity sports conditioning class combines skills and drills that will challenge your inner athlete by focusing on the 6 essential athlete goals: strength, speed, power, agility, endurance and muscular balance. Strength and power work is achieved utilizing a variety of equipment for challenge; cardio portion may include plyometric work and running. Class portions likely to go outside if weather permits. *Bring a Mat/Towel.
Ballet and Gymnastics
Our Ballet & Gymnastics program provides an opportunity for children to develop both physical skills for a healthy lifestyle and personal skills to succeed in school and work, all while laughing and playing with a group of their peers. Parents can stay or leave the YMCA during the program knowing that their children are in a safe and loving environment. Children enjoy a warm atmosphere in which they have the opportunity to function in a structured setting. Activities will include ballet and gymnastics. Children can participate in both sessions or pick and choose sessions at your convenience.
Cheer and Tumbling
Programs you will flip for! We offer cheer & tumbling classes to learn foundational chants and dances. Cheerleaders will develop showmanship skills, increase self-esteem and build character. Our progressive lessons help children fine-tune their talents and love of the sport. With experienced instructors leading the way, students are excited and motivated to learn new skills each week. Gymnasts at every level will receive a unique, fun, and rewarding experience! Our Cheer & Tumbling Workshops are a fun way for young cheerleaders ages 5-10
Fencing classes are now available! We have two options – a 4 week session for beginners and a 4 week session for those who have completed at least one fencing class in the past. Online registration is available here:
Classes are available for children ages 9-18. We hope to see you in class!
Entry level volleyball skills & drills for youth in who are interested in learning the game of volleyball. This camp is designed to teach & enhance skill levels needed to participate in competitive volleyball.
